How it actually works
Within 2 seconds of a missed call, your customer gets a text from your number. It tells them you're on a job and asks them to reply with what they need. Before they've had a chance to ring the next business on Google, the conversation stays open.
Yes. We set it up with your name and business name, so it reads like you sent it yourself. Customers don't get a generic message from an unknown number - they get a personal-sounding reply from the business they just called.
That depends on how we set it up for your business. The reply-1-or-2 example on the site is just one way of doing it - the actual message and options are tailored to how you work. However they respond, the system routes it appropriately: urgent jobs get flagged to you straight away, everything else queues up neatly for when you're free.
A single gentle follow-up goes out a little later. If they still don't reply, they're logged in your Lead Hub app so nothing disappears. You're not chasing voicemails or trying to remember who called.
The AI question
It's automated text messaging, not AI pretending to be a person. There's no voice. No chatbot trying to hold a conversation. Just a fast, clear text that keeps the lead warm until you're free - and a simple reply system that sorts what needs your attention now from what can wait.
The system uses smart automation to route replies and send follow-ups, but there's no AI voice and no AI agent trying to handle your customers. We made that call deliberately - customers calling in distress don't want to speak to a robot, and your customers deserve a real response from you, not a simulation of one.
Emergencies
That's exactly what the urgent reply option is for. When a customer flags it as urgent, you get an immediate alert on your phone. You're still in control - you decide whether the job you're on can wait or not. The system doesn't make that call for you, but it makes sure you know about it straight away instead of finding a missed call an hour later.
Setup and compatibility
Most setups are completed within a few days of your onboarding call. We handle the whole build - the text-back workflow, calendar or booking link, UK messaging registration, and full testing - and hand it over ready to go. You don't need to do anything technical.
No. The system works alongside your existing number. You keep your number, your customers ring the same number they always have, and the text-back goes out automatically when you miss a call.
Yes. If you've already got a booking calendar you're happy with - Calendly, SimplyBook, or anything else - we'll connect to your existing link rather than setting up a new one.
WhatsApp add-on
The add-on lets customers reply on WhatsApp instead of SMS, and brings all your WhatsApp chats, texts, and bookings into one inbox. Inbound messages and normal back-and-forth replies are included in the £25/month.
Standard replies are included. If you ever want to send a bulk WhatsApp campaign - for example, a promotion to past customers - WhatsApp charges a small per-message fee on top. We'll always agree anything like that with you before it goes out. There are no surprise charges.
Pricing and contracts
No. It's month-to-month. If it's not working for your business, you can cancel any time - no penalties, no awkward conversations.
The £199 setup covers the full build: the missed-call text-back workflow, triage and routing, your calendar or booking link (or connecting your existing one), UK messaging registration so texts actually land in inboxes, and full end-to-end testing. We don't hand you a login and a PDF - we build it and hand it over working.
The £10/month SMS credit included covers most businesses comfortably. If you're running a higher volume of missed calls or outgoing reminders, you may need a small top-up. We'll flag it early and agree it with you - it won't come as a surprise on your bill.
You can add it at any point. If you want to get the missed-call system running first and bolt the website on later, that's fine. The bundle discount (saving £99 on setup and £37/month) is available whenever you're ready to do both.
The website add-on
Then you probably don't need this add-on. It's designed specifically for businesses with strong Google reviews but no website - where customers search your name, like what they see, but have nowhere clear to book. If your existing site is doing that job, we'll tell you on the call.
Before anything is published, we'll send you a link to see exactly what the site looks like. If you're happy with it, we turn it on. If you want changes, we make them. If you don't want it at all, we bin it - no charge, no hard feelings.
Usually within a week of setup, depending on how quickly we can pull your Google reviews, photos, and business details together. We do the work - you just need to give us the nod when you've seen the preview.
Is this right for my business?
Primarily trades - plumbers, heating engineers, electricians, gas engineers, locksmiths - but also barbers, salons, garages, and any local service business that misses calls while working. The common thread is: you're doing the job with your hands, your phone rings, and you can't always answer it.
